Here is the overview of the contest! Let’s aim for the Grand Prize!

Results Announcement date:
The award ceremony will be held at the Japan Education Fair at the Hawaii Convention Center.

Eligibility
High school students enrolled in high schools in Hawaii as of March 1, 2025.
Application period
April 1 – May 31, 2025
Prize
Grand Prize: 1 person – $200 Starbucks Coffee Gift Card
Excellent Prize: 1 person – COPIC ONE 36 colors
Judge’s Prize: 1 person – COPIC ONE 24 colors
OSCD Prize: 1 person – Souvenir
YuLa Prize: 1 person – Souvenir
1st Place Vote Prize: 1 person – $100 Starbucks Coffee Gift Card

【Contest Overview】
Theme: Free
The illustration must be original. Secondary production is not permitted.
Art materials must be CG illustrations (2D illustrations). Analog works are also acceptable.
※Analog works must be scanned and converted into digital data.
Backgrounds are optional.
Size: Letter size
Resolution: 300dpi or higher
Data capacity: Each work must be compressed to 8MB or less.
Save format: PDF, JPG, PNG only.
Duplicate entries by the same artist are not permitted.
Description of the work (required) and comments about the work (50 words or less).
Description of the drawing environment (materials, software, etc. used)
File name: “School name_Name_Work name”

★The winners of the Grand Prize and Excellence Prize will be announced on the Yu Honolulu Center website on July 1st. The winners are expected to attend the awards ceremony on August 31st.

★The 1st place vote prize will be determined based on the voting results over the two days of the Japan Education Fair, held on August 30th and 31st. There will be an awards ceremony on the 31st, so we encourage all participants to attend and cast their votes.
